Week 8

Welcome to Austin, who has been visiting us this week.  He will start in Pikopiko after the school holidays.  We have had a busy week with Student Led Conferences this week.  It has been great to share the progress your children have made in their learning with you all.

We made fabulous flowers this week!

Wacky hair day was so much fun!

On Wednesday we made Fruit Pops! We had to wait until Thursday for them to freeze and then eat!

Remember, we do PMP every Wednesday morning and need as many helpers as we can.  Please come and help us from 9:15 to 9:45am.  Also don't forget the notice to be returned to school about our visit to the Christchurch School of Gymnastics on Monday 4 July.

Next week, on Tuesday is William last day at Heathcote Valley School.  We will play some party games and then have a play in the school playground from 2:30pm onwards.  Haere ra William! Good luck at your new school!

Week 7

We had a wonderful week this week! We made smiley face cookies on Tuesday, to sell to the whole school.  We made approx $50 which we will give to the St Johns Ambulance.  Mike is bringing the ambulance to school in Week 9!

We have been trying hard to "fill the jar" with marbles for good behaviour/following instructions etc.  Our treat for filling the jar was a play at the Domain!

On Friday at lunch time, Ms Sutton put on the big stereo and put out skipping ropes.  Lilah announced: "This is the best day ever!"
