Week 5

Many of us had great fun exploring and making clay animals at the Art Gallery! Thanks to the parents who took us in their cars!  We really appreciate it!

Week 4

This week we listened to a Maori legend: Maui and the Sun and made Te Ra, the Sun!

On Thursday the Enviro group ran "Cupcake Day", to fundraise for SPCA and Dogwatch.  There were some amazing cupcakes to buy!

Friday was "Olympics" day! There were many "sports" to participate in from jumping, tug o' war, sack races, football and gymnastics! We started with an opening ceremony in the hall, then finished with an award ceremony. "Italy" won the gold medals!

At TALL Assembly on Friday, Kowhai and Pikopiko performed "Tutira Mai" to the whole school. Ask your child to sing this to you, including doing the actions!

Week 3

Welcome to Rata, who has joined the children in the Volcano!

On Wednesday we wrote about our favourite games...

On Thursday we had ice creams in a cone! Yum! It was also Jamie and Archie's birthday and they brought us all treats!  THANK YOU!

Week 2

A big welcome to Miss Hannah Thomas who has joined us in the Pikopiko team!

We have been busy keeping our head down and working hard this week, as ERO has been visiting our school!  Thursday was so much fun... it was TEDDY BEAR DAY!  We had a range of soft toys - from lions, dogs, dinosaurs and elephants!

Some of the Senior children joined us for Discovery on Friday!
