Artists in Action

Today we carried on with our art works we began on Tuesday. We had finished off the Port Hills with a selection of pastel colours and our next step was to work on the sky. We used blue dye and wide brushes to make a washed effect over the space. Some children left some white areas because they wanted to show clouds. Next week we are going to add some silhouettes of ourselves standing like tall learners on top of the crater rim. We will display them in Pikopiko so please come in and check them out towards the end of next week.

We stood outside Pikopiko and struck some tall learner poses that we will use to make silhouettes of our bodies. We wanted to show that we are proud to be tall learners who try to do their very best every day.
