Fabulous Fun at the Gala!
Last night our HVS gala was a wonderful community get together to raise money for our new school pool. There were lots of stalls, yummy food and exciting entertainment happening for everyone to enjoy. The junior Kapahaka started the evening off with a short performance of some of our favourite waiata - great job there team. It was lovely to catch up with lots of our Pikopiko families and see all the children having such a happy night. It was impressive to discover what a great shot so many of our younger students are ... Tim who was organising the dunk tank commented that I might not even get wet during my stint. This did not prove to be the case! William T was the first to make me go under and there wasn't much let up after that!! Thank you for coming along to be part of the action. It will be exciting to find out how much money we have raised.

Nathaniel had a great time at the gala as a vampire. He loved the horizontal bungee, snow cones and lolly necklaces. He also liked baking for the bake sale. It was a great night.

Mrs Fowler was a true champion on the dunk tank, next year maybe Mrs Wilson and Ms Lennon might like to have a go. Taylor loved the dunk tank and his favorite person to dunk was Mr K.
