Cross Country and More Sneeze Safe

Next Thursday May 14th we are holding the Junior Cross Country. We have started training to prepare ourselves! We went for a morning run today to practise our route. We go all the way around the field and have some obstacles along the way. Lots of people managed to go the whole way without stopping!




This afternoon we followed up our learning on Sneeze Safe with a couple of activities to show how easily germs can spread. On the Forest mat we used glitter to show how far bugs can travel - make sure you wash your hands! On the Ocean mat they used a spray bottle to show where a sneeze can end up if you don't trap it with your hands or a tissue. Yuck!

    Henry loved the water spray and the glitter at school today. He thought it was a fun way to learn how germs spread. We are using lots and lots of tissues at home. Nicola(Henry's Mum)
