This term at HVS our focus bands on the Tall Learner Rainbow are communication (orange) and motivation (yellow). Mr E told us he had an awesome story to read to us that was all about motivation. He came to Pikopiko after lunch and read us the book 'Two Little Bugs'. What a great story! It was all about being brave and trying your best, and also about encouraging our friends when they might be finding something a bit tricky. Thanks so much Mr E for coming! He also mentioned he might have a few more stories to read us so I'm sure we'll see him again another day :)
This afternoon we had our first session of our new Junior Arts Interchange. Over the next 8 weeks we will be rotating around lessons in Dance, Music, Drama and Gymnastics. We got to do the first two today - we're all excited to try the other two next week! :)
Hey Pikopiko team,
ReplyDeleteAsk Amalia how many 'Kits for Kindys' Sophia and her put together yesterday after school with all your wonderful donations of money and resources!!! It's pretty exciting.
Wow Amalia told us they made 8 kits! She said they spent a long time shopping and sorting. How awesome! :)
