Assembly Performance and Farewell Amalia!

What a big day we had in Pikopiko today! It is always a Fun Friday but it was an extra special day today. We had our school assembly and first a big congratulations to this week's Tall Learners. Well done Angus, Taylor and Sophie. You all received certificates for your motivation towards your learning - you have been putting in a huge effort and are making amazing progress. Keep it up! Angus also celebrated his 6th birthday today so it was extra special!

Also at assembly was our big performance. Well done Pikopiko for your fabulous singing. We sang and danced to the Farmyard Jamboree - you all participated with beautiful loud voices so well done!

Today we also farewelled our friend Amalia who had her very last day in Pikopiko. She is off to Auckland with her family to go to a new school for a year! How exciting! We had a party to say goodbye - thank you everyone for bringing along such tasty treats we had quite a feast! A particular shout out and thanks to Natalia's mum Jen for all your help setting up and cleaning up our goodies.
Amalia we wish you all the best, have a fabulous time up there and don't forget to drop us a line on the blog every so often to let us know how you're going :)
