Computers, Cake and Counting!

We had a busy, fun day in Pikopiko today. During reading time we had our computers and ipads up and running for the first time. We could play phoneme pop on the computers to help to learn our sounds, and we practised our letter formations on the ipads.

After lunch we had a special treat. It was Ms Lennon's birthday on the weekend so Mrs Wilson kindly organised for us all to share a cake! Jo took some special helpers to bake a beautiful red velvet cake. Yum!

Finally this afternoon we got into our new maths groups. We did some great counting with beans and practised reading and writing numbers.

Great work everybody!

Parents we will be starting PMP this Thursday at 9am.  We will need some parent helpers so please come along on Thursday if you can stay and assist :)
