Wow there is lots going on for us at the moment! We have a few exciting things coming up. Those of you who play an instrument - the recorder or the ukulele - the HVS music concert is next Thursday August 20. This does include our lovely Pikopiko musicians :) There will be a day time concert for the rest of the school at 1.30, then an evening concert at 6pm (but please arrive at 5.45). This is a great chance to show off what you have learnt! We can't wait to hear you! Please wear school uniform for the evening concert.
Also another little follow up about the kapahaka uniforms. A few people have asked about what is required for the black shorts. Any kind of black pants will be fine, so if you already have long pants or leggings that will be fine :) Then boys need a black t-shirt and girls a white t-shirt.
We are looking forward to hearing the first of the sharing talks tomorrow. Those children in the first box (Thursdays in weeks 4,6,8) will have their first turn tomorrow. Bring something special from home and be ready to tell us a few details about it :)
